What supplies do I need for my new puppy?

If you're not sure what you need, or are double-checking your shopping list - we have compiled our own list of favorite items that we find essential when raising a puppy.

Every puppy goes through stages where they desperately need to chew. This is an assortment of natural and man-made chew toys that will provide hours upon hours of safe chew satisfaction!

Let your puppy burn energy & get the most out of each meal by stuffing or filling a food-dispensing toy. Using one of these toys will keep your puppy busy and occupied while you enjoy YOUR own meal.

interactive play toys

These are toys recommended for active play sessions. They are NOT chew toys - so do not leave these toys with your puppy unattended, or allow them to trot off to knaw on for an extended period of time. If used for play and training sessions, these toys are extremely durable and fun!

playpens & gates

Playpens can be an absolute lifesaver! By limiting your puppy to one puppy-proofed section of your home, you can easily prevent accidents or chewing disasters! Gates are a great way to give time for puppies to acclimate to other pets in the home, and provide safe structure around young children.

crates & portable kennels

Crates are a safe way to secure your puppy overnight or while traveling and can accelerate potty training. We prefer either a wire or plastic sided crate for puppies. They are strong, safe and easy to clean. A soft-sided carrier is comfortable for travel with small dogs or young puppies.
